This Privacy Policy describes how Mobile Craft (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operating from India, collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use the Fresh Keeper mobile application (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
When you create an account and use Fresh Keeper, we collect:
- Email Address: Used for account creation, authentication, customer support, and sending important notifications about your account
- Google Account Information: When you sign in using Google OAuth, we receive your email address and basic profile information (name, profile picture) from Google
- Device Token: Used to send push notifications to your device about product expiry reminders and referral updates
- Referral Code: If you share your referral code with others or use someone else’s code
- Product Inventory Data: Items you add to track, including product names, expiry dates, purchase dates, prices (optional), quantities, and categories
- Shopping Lists: Items you add to your shopping lists (Premium feature)
- Usage Data: Information about whether products were used or marked as wastage (Premium feature)
- Wastage Reports: Analytics generated from your usage patterns (Premium feature)
We automatically collect certain information when you use the App:
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers
- Usage Data: Pages or screens visited within the App, time and date of visits, time spent on pages, app crashes, and performance data
- IP Address: Your device’s Internet Protocol address
- Analytics Data: App interactions, feature usage, and performance metrics collected through Firebase Analytics
- Precise Location Data: We do not collect your GPS location or precise geographic location
- Note: AdMob (our advertising partner) may collect approximate location data for ad serving purposes. Please see Section 4 for details about third-party data collection.
We use the collected information for the following purposes:

- Creating and managing your account
- Storing and syncing your product inventory across devices
- Sending push notifications about expiring products
- Enabling you to track product usage and wastage
- Generating shopping lists based on your expired or used products
- Creating wastage reports and analytics
2.2 Premium Features
- Providing access to shopping list creation
- Enabling wastage tracking and reporting
- Allowing data export functionality
- Processing subscription payments through Google Play Billing
- Note: All payment transactions are handled securely by Google Play. We do not store or have access to your payment card information.
2.3 Referral System
- Managing your referral code
- Tracking referral activities
- Displaying global referral leaderboards (showing only usernames or referral codes, not personal information)
- Sending notifications about referral updates
2.4 Communication
- Responding to your support requests and inquiries
- Sending important account-related notifications
- Notifying you about significant changes to the App or this Privacy Policy
2.5 App Improvement
- Analyzing app usage patterns to improve features and user experience
- Identifying and fixing bugs and crashes
- Developing new features based on user behavior
2.6 Advertising
- Displaying advertisements through Google AdMob
- Supporting the free version of our App
3. Data Storage and Security
3.1 Where Your Data is Stored
Your data is securely stored on servers provided by Supabase, a trusted cloud database service. We also use Firebase services (owned by Google) for:
- Push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging)
- Analytics (Firebase Analytics)
- Crash reporting (Firebase Crashlytics)
- Cloud Functions for backend processing
3.2 Security Measures
We take the security of your information seriously and implement appropriate technical and organizational measures, including:
- Encryption of data in transit using SSL/TLS protocols
- Secure authentication using industry-standard OAuth 2.0
- Regular security assessments of our systems
- Access controls limiting who can access user data
- Secure cloud infrastructure with Supabase and Firebase
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
4. Third-Party Services
Fresh Keeper uses the following third-party services that may collect, process, or store your information:
4.1 Google AdMob
- Purpose: Displaying advertisements in the free version of the App
- Data Collected: AdMob may collect device information, IP address, approximate location, and advertising identifiers to serve personalized or non-personalized ads

4.2 Firebase Services (Google)
- Purpose: Analytics, crash reporting, push notifications, and cloud functions
- Data Collected: Usage data, device information, app performance data, crash logs

- Purpose: Database storage for your account and inventory data
- Data Collected: All information you provide through the App

- Data Collected: Payment information is collected and processed directly by Google Play. We do not have access to your payment card details.

These third-party services have their own privacy policies and terms of service. We encourage you to review them. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
With Your Consent: We may share your information when you explicitly agree to such sharing.
Service Providers: We share data with trusted third-party service providers (Supabase, Firebase, AdMob) who assist us in operating the App. These providers are contractually obligated to keep your information confidential and use it only for the services they provide to us.
Referral Leaderboard: Your referral username or code and referral count may be displayed on the global leaderboard visible to all App users. No other personal information is shared publicly.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to:
- Comply with legal obligations
- Protect and defend our rights or property
- Prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing
- Protect the personal safety of users or the public
- Protect against legal liability
Business Transfers: If Mobile Craft is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice in the App before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
5.2 We Do NOT:
- Sell your personal information to third parties
- Share your product inventory, shopping lists, or wastage data with other users or third parties (except as required by law)
- Use your email for marketing purposes without your explicit consent
6. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights regarding your personal information:
6.1 Access and Update
- You can access and update your account information and inventory data directly within the App at any time
6.2 Delete Your Account
- You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at freshkeeperhelp@gmail.com
- Upon receiving your deletion request, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law
6.3 Export Your Data
- Premium users can export their inventory and wastage data directly from the App
- You can also request a copy of your data by emailing freshkeeperhelp@gmail.com
6.4 Opt-Out of Push Notifications
- You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings or within the App settings
- Note that disabling notifications may affect your ability to receive timely expiry reminders
6.5 Opt-Out of Personalized Advertising
- You can opt-out of personalized ads through your device settings:
- Android: Go to Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization
- iOS: Go to Settings > Privacy > Advertising > Limit Ad Tracking
- You can also reset your advertising ID to limit ad tracking
6.6 Delete the App
- You can stop all data collection by uninstalling Fresh Keeper using the standard uninstall process on your device
- Note that uninstalling the App does not automatically delete your account data from our servers. Please email us to request account deletion.
6.7 Rights for Users in Certain Regions
For Users in the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, and Switzerland:
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have additional rights:
- Right to access your personal data
- Right to rectification of inaccurate data
- Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”)
- Right to restrict processing
- Right to data portability
- Right to object to processing
- Right to withdraw consent at any time
- Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
For Users in California:
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have rights including:

- Right to say no to the sale of personal information

7. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide you with the App’s services and as described in this Privacy Policy:
- Account Information: Retained as long as your account is active
- Inventory Data: Retained as long as your account is active
- Usage and Analytics Data: Retained for up to 24 months for analysis purposes
- Crash Reports: Retained for up to 90 days
- Deleted Account Data: Permanently deleted within 30 days of account deletion request, except where retention is required by law
After you delete your account or request data deletion, we will delete or anonymize your information so that it no longer identifies you, unless we are legally required to retain certain information.
8. Children’s Privacy
Fresh Keeper is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at freshkeeperhelp@gmail.com. If we discover that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information as quickly as possible.
9. International Data Transfers
Mobile Craft operates from India. If you are accessing the App from outside India, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in India or other countries where our service providers operate.
By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries outside your country of residence, which may have different data protection laws than your country. We take steps to ensure that your information receives an adequate level of protection in the jurisdictions in which we process it.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make changes, we will:
- Update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy
- Notify you through the App or via email if the changes are significant
- For material changes that affect your rights, we may require you to accept the new policy before continuing to use the App
